The Dental Stars Success Summit will be held in the city of Dumaguete, between 2-6 June 2025, and it features several highlights along the way.
The first of these is a two-day business conference for your team members, with you ideally present. The conference features no less than 10 amazing keynote speakers and it covers specific topics to inspire and up-skill your team. Speakers listed below.
Second, we have arranged an exclusive day just for Dental Stars with a special guest speaker, and Dental Stars co-founder, Angus Pryor.
Third, this is a chance for you to spend quality time with your team. This may be a combination of conducting your own training on your business’s culture, systems, and processes – coupled with enjoying meals and one or two team-building experiences.
And finally, on Friday, 6th June, you and your staff will have the option to participate in a personal challenge for charity, which would see you walk or run anywhere between 10-50 km around the nearby island of Siquijor. Keep reading for details.

Package Inclusions & Investment
As you can see from the lineup above, an event with this many speakers and inclusions would normally be AU$2,000-$3,000 per person. However, because of the unique nature of this event and the goodness it brings for all involved, our organisers have priced the event at break-even.
For practice owners, your package includes tickets to:
- an exclusive workshop just for Dental Stars and their clients
- the two-day iGROW Event
- a Welcome Dinner at the beautiful La Mensa Italian Chophouse
- three lunches (and morning teas) with your staff during the exclusive Dental Stars workshop and iGROW Conference
- dinner at the iGROW Official After Party.
The investment for this is ONLY AU$500 per Aussie team member attending.
For your Dental Star
For Dental Stars attending, their package includes tickets to the Dental Stars workshop, the two-day iGROW Event, three morning teas and three lunches during the Success Summit, plus tickets and dinner at the iGROW Official After Party. The investment for this is ONLY AU$250 per team member.
In addition, for those people participating in the Big S’Cool Walk, the investment is $147 for business owners and team members. This fee is paid separately, and once direct costs are covered, all surplus funds will be donated to underprivileged local schools.
Planning Your Flights
Now that you know the dates and the details of the Dental Stars Success Summit, it’s time to book your flights. We suggest arriving in Dumaguete on Saturday, 31st May or Sunday, 1st June, depending on how long you need to settle. Direct flights are available from most capital cities to Manila and then from there, Dumaguete is a short domestic flight that is approximately
85 minutes.
As for your return flight, if you are planning to join us for the Big S’Cool Charity Walk, you may leave on either Sunday, 8th or Monday, 9th June. And if you are not participating in the walk, you will likely leave late afternoon on Friday, 6th or anytime on Saturday, 7th June. Alternatively, you can choose to stay for the weekend and enjoy downtime or relax in a nearby resort for the weekend.
There is some benefit in choosing the same airline for your international and domestic flights, but it’s not essential. For example, Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific offer free and timely transfers between the different terminals at Manila airport (domestic and international operate from different terminals), but shuttle buses and overpriced taxis run as an alternative.

Your Success Summit itinerary
After you book your flights and know your arrival time into Dumaguete, we suggest you tell your team - they may wish to meet you at the airport to welcome you. If you arrive on a weekend, your Dental Star/s may not be able to do so due to other commitments.
In this case, please speak to them about arranging a driver to pick you up and take you to your hotel, as it is a small airport, and taxis can be hard to find.
MAY 31 — JUNE 01
Saturday - Sunday
If you arrive on Saturday, 31st May, or Sunday, 1st June, make a plan with your team. They may wish to take you around town, show you their favourite places, and enjoy a nice meal. Or if they’re busy on Sunday, ask them to help you make a plan or simply relax at the hotel.
Then on Sunday, 1st June, at 6 p.m., we are inviting all business owners already in Dumaguete to join us for a Welcome Drink at a place called The Pawnshop. This will go on until approximately 8 p.m. and after this, you can go get dinner or retire for the night.
JUNE 02
Monday
Monday, 2nd June, it’s a typical workday, and you can spend as much time with your team as you like. This may involve working alongside them at the office for the day.
Or taking them through a day of training, led by you, covering important things that you want them to know. At the conclusion of the day, we will be meeting again for a beautiful business owner dinner at 6 p.m. at La Mensa Italian Chophouse.
JUNE 03 — JUNE 04
Tuesday & Wednesday
On Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th, we join with the iGROW Conference – this is content designed for the whole team including your Dental Star/s. For each of these days, we want you to arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. as the event will start at 9:00 a.m. sharp on both days. Then, the event will finish at 1 p.m. each day, and this will be followed by a buffet-style lunch with your team at the venue.
At 2 p.m., the event is over, and we suggest you make plans to spend time doing more training back at the office or arrange your own team-building activities.
On the first evening of iGROW (3rd) we suggest you plan your own dinner with your team or meet us somewhere for a casual dinner and drinks. On final day of iGROW, participation includes tickets to and dinner at our official after party. Venue TBA.
JUNE 05
Thursday
On Thursday 5th, we have an exclusive day, just for Dental Stars clients, at a special location, featuring a special guest speaker, as well as Dental Stars co-founder, Angus Pryor. On this day, morning tea and lunch are included, and we’ll adopt the same timing as iGROW (9am-1pm).
If you’re not doing the Big S’cool Walk (see Friday), join us for one of the favourite activities in the Philippines: karaoke!
Enjoy a casual evening with your team, including food and drinks (at your own cost) and the chance to belt out a few of your favourite songs. Rest assured, the Dental stars (and Angus) will be singing even if you don’t. : )
JUNE 06
Friday
On Friday 6th, there is the optional Big S’Cool Walk. This is a personal challenge to raise money for underprivileged and underfunded schools in the Philippines. The walk starts at approximately 6 a.m. with the challenge of walking or running between 10 and 50 km, which is the approximate circumference of the island.
Of course, there is no expectation on the distance, so you can walk as little or as much as you like. And if you wish to retire, you’ll be able to go back to your hotel or continue the journey in a minibus. The end of the day, you will go back to your hotel and crash.
About Dumaguete City
Dumaguete City, Philippines, also known as the "City of Gentle People," is popular for its friendly atmosphere, beautiful coastal views, and rich cultural heritage, the city offers a unique and relaxing experience for visitors.
With the summer season in full swing, guests can expect warm, tropical weather, with temperatures averaging around 28°C (82°F). While many restaurants and establishments in Dumaguete now accept credit cards, cash remains essential especially when taking local tricycles. A tricycle is a small motorcycle with a sidecar, offering an affordable and convenient way to get around.
Since they only accept cash, it’s best to carry some for these

Frequently asked questions.
Do I need to attend, or can I just send my Dental Star?
Yes, you can just send your Dental Star. We will look after them, and they will have a great time. However, without question, the experience will be enhanced with your physical presence. So, if you can block the week to be there, that is definitely best. But if you can’t be there, get them tickets for Success Summit and we will take good care of them.
Can I bring my team from Australia?
Yes, anyone connected with the practice is welcome to attend. At the Dental Stars Success Summit, the expert speakers will cover a range of business and team-building topics, including a day specifically set aside for Dental Stars and their clients.

Your registration is non-refundable. However, if unforeseen circumstances arise, you may transfer your spot within your organisation up to one week before the event by notifying us via email.
Examples of transfers:
- A staff member leaves, and a new team member takes their place.
- You can no longer attend and wish to send a colleague in your place.
